Burt & Max's opened February 2013 in the Delray Marketplace. We offer westward residents a contemporary and cozy destination for lunch, brunch, happy hour or dinner. The modern, comfortable décor goes hand-in-hand with Chef Patrick Broadhead's classic and new American menu options which focuses on small and sharing plates, signature entrees, as well as innovative items coming from the restaurant's brick oven.
As a Rapoport's Restaurant Group entity, our mission is to exceed our guests' expectations of quality, value, friendliness and ambiance. We believe in preparing made-from-scratch plates; sourcing quality ingredients from premium purveyors and local Florida farms seasonally. From the dressings and sauces to the desserts, we strive to make as much as we can in house on a daily basis. To learn more about our scratch kitchen philosophy, visit Rapoportsrg.com/scratchkitchen.
Burt & Max's interiors, conceptualized by South Florida designer Pam Manhas, of Manhas Design, incorporate many natural finishes, reclaimed and aged barn woods, industrial lighting, a tile-faced pizza oven and a 32-foot bar made of a single slab of cypress wood. Whimsical touches include an entry area paved with thousands of pennies to a wall featuring photographs of rock 'n' roll legends, from Joplin to Jagger. The layout includes indoor/outdoor seating areas, two spacious bars, a fire pit lounge, lush landscaping, and dining areas suitable for groups small or large.
